It's good~<br /><br />Today, I used<br /><img src="http://blog-imgs-1.fc2.com/image/v/352.gif"  class="emoji" style="border:none;" />Sticky rice (it can be other kind of rice as you like)<br /><img src="http://blog-imgs-1.fc2.com/image/v/352.gif"  class="emoji" style="border:none;" />4 1/2 cups of water<br /><img src="http://blog-imgs-1.fc2.com/image/v/352.gif"  class="emoji" style="border:none;" />2 potatoes<br /><img src="http://blog-imgs-1.fc2.com/image/v/352.gif"  class="emoji" style="border:none;" />1 carrot<br /><img src="http://blog-imgs-1.fc2.com/image/v/352.gif"  class="emoji" style="border:none;" />1 onion<br /><img src="http://blog-imgs-1.fc2.com/image/v/352.gif"  class="emoji" style="border:none;" />0.5lb thin sliced beef<br /><a href="http://blog-imgs-27.fc2.com/j/p/n/jpnmama/curry1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://blog-imgs-27.fc2.com/j/p/n/jpnmama/curry1s.jpg" alt="curry1.jpg" border="0" width="120" height="89" /></a><br /><br /><img src="http://blog-imgs-1.fc2.com/image/v/352.gif"  class="emoji" style="border:none;" />Japanese curry sauce mix.(Vermont Curry, Java curry or other kind.), which looks like this<br /><br /><a href="http://blog-imgs-27.fc2.com/j/p/n/jpnmama/curry4.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://blog-imgs-27.fc2.com/j/p/n/jpnmama/curry4s.jpg" alt="curry4.jpg" border="0" width="120" height="90" /></a><br />If you can find an Asian store, Japanese market, THEY MUST HAVE THESE.<br />Some Wal-mart carries these at Asian aisle as well.<br />(If you are in COS, try Korean markets, but make sure to get Japanese Curry mix, not Korean one. they taste different<img src="http://blog-imgs-1.fc2.com/image/v/219.gif"  class="emoji" style="border:none;" />)<br /><br /><br />These are the basic ingredients, but you can add mushrooms, broccoli, Califlowers, any vegetales doesn't have strong flavore.<br />I love the curry woth lots of vegetables in it. so I always add mix vegetables.<br /><a href="http://blog-imgs-27.fc2.com/j/p/n/jpnmama/curry13.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://blog-imgs-27.fc2.com/j/p/n/jpnmama/curry13s.jpg" alt="curry13.jpg" border="0" width="120" height="89" /></a><br />from Kings Sooper (<img src="http://blog-imgs-1.fc2.com/image/v/238.gif"  class="emoji" style="border:none;" />I love the store<img src="http://blog-imgs-1.fc2.com/image/v/238.gif"  class="emoji" style="border:none;" />)<br /><br /><br />Instead of thin sliced beef, you can use Chicken, or Pork, or even Seafood mix.<br /><br /><br />First, Wash vegetables and cut in pieces<br /><a href="http://blog-imgs-27.fc2.com/j/p/n/jpnmama/curry2.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://blog-imgs-27.fc2.com/j/p/n/jpnmama/curry2s.jpg" alt="curry2.jpg" border="0" width="120" height="90" /></a><br /><br />Boil water and put these vegetables in the hot water until they get soften.<br /><br />Add meat (or Seafood mix)<br /><br />Skim the broth.<br /><a href="http://blog-imgs-27.fc2.com/j/p/n/jpnmama/curry3.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://blog-imgs-27.fc2.com/j/p/n/jpnmama/curry3s.jpg" alt="curry3.jpg" border="0" width="120" height="90" /></a><br /><br /><br />Now, you put the sauce mix.<br />when you open the box, they are in a package<br /><a href="http://blog-imgs-27.fc2.com/j/p/n/jpnmama/curry.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://blog-imgs-27.fc2.com/j/p/n/jpnmama/currys.jpg" alt="curry.jpg" border="0" width="120" height="90" /></a><br />and when you open that package , they look like this<br /><a href="http://blog-imgs-27.fc2.com/j/p/n/jpnmama/curry5.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://blog-imgs-27.fc2.com/j/p/n/jpnmama/curry5s.jpg" alt="curry5.jpg" border="0" width="120" height="90" /></a><br /><br />I recommend to use at least six of these blocks,(which is contained in one package, if you get a big box.)<br />But, It's always a smart thing to do to follow the direction on the box~<img src="http://blog-imgs-1.fc2.com/image/v/290.gif"  class="emoji" style="border:none;" /><br /><br />Occasionaly stir them gently until the sauce mix blocks get completely gone.<br /><br />On the plate, put some rice first, then, put curry.<br /><br /><br />And    ENJOY<img src="http://blog-imgs-1.fc2.com/image/v/306.gif"  class="emoji" style="border:none;" /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />It's one of a Japanese home cook. <![CDATA[ I moved to Colorado Springs 2 months ago.<br /><br />It's a great place to live.<br /> I love the people,<br /> I love the beautiful mountains,<br /> I love the weather.<br /><br />Since I got here, many people has asked me about Japan.<br /><br />But what I don't like about is, Japan is not all about games, animes,mangas.<br /><br />We have so much more than that.<br /><br />Yes, Japanese "Otaku culture" must be something, but even if you ever want to know about these things, PLEASE , don't come to me. don't ask me.<br /><br />I'm one of those people who can't understand that awesomeness....<br /><br /><br /><br />I decided to start this blog so I can introduce other aspects of Japanese awesome culture.<br /><br />And as a house wife struggling with everyday routine, I want to have friends who can share and exchange informations.<br /><br />My daily life is going on in very Japanese way.<br /><br />Most of foods I cook is Japanese (so glad that my husband loves Japanese foods), and yes I will update the recipes and photoes, the way or play I do with my daughter is very Japanese...<br /><br /><br /><br />I would be happy if you come and take a look at my blog at your relaxing time.<br /><br /><br /><br />It's not gonna be a fancy blog, but it's gonna be a fun blog.  ]]>
